FACTOR ANALYSIS: Construction of Performance Indexes and their Application in Interdisciplinary Studies
The book “Factor Analysis: Construction of Performance Indexes and their Application in Interdisciplinary Studies” is a scientific contribution by an interdisciplinary research group focused on applied research in the Brazilian Amazon. The book consists of five chapters, each presenting the results of scientific research published in international journals. The first chapter discusses strategic planning for public security in Rondônia, analyzing criminality rates and social vulnerability. The second chapter calculates the quality performance index of the hotel sector in Guajará-Mirim. The third chapter analyzes regional development in municipalities covered by the SUFRAMA policy. The fourth chapter applies multivariate analysis to health indicators in Rondônia, and the fifth chapter constructs the sustainable development index for the hydrographic basins of Rondônia. The book aims to facilitate access to these interdisciplinary works within the same theme and provide valuable insights for public health policies, regional development, and environmental sustainability in the Amazon region.
